Wonder why we vote on a Tuesday in November?

Here's why: It is in November because back when most of the country were farmers, the harvest was over and the weather wasn't bad enough yet to prevent people from traveling. It is on a Tuesday because most people had to travel over night to their polling location. Congress chose Tuesday so people could use Monday and Wednesday as travel days, and Tuesday was for voting and a day to rest the horses! Nice little fact, huh? :)

Don't forget to VOTE!
